The Corporate Snip™ COMPETITION RULES:
1. General
The Corporate Snip ™ is an initiative by two Entrepreneurs, Nidhi Varma and Sumana Sethuraman ("Organizers"). This is an Apparel Designing Competition held during 1st Sep – 07th Nov 2010 (“Competition”) and in that Competition we are looking for the best outfit designed as per the Competition Theme.
By submitting your entry ("Work") to us, You, at the same time accept these Rules of the Competition.
In order to be able to enter the Competition, create a soft / hard copy of your design and submit your design to us by sending it to us via:

Your entry for Round-1 should consist of:
(1) A brief description about your design and your inspiration.
(2) Flat Sketch along with Technical Specifications.
(3) Illustration with colors and embellishments.
(4) Size Chart
You must create an image of your original design ("Work"). (acceptable means of created images include original hand-drawn sketches or original computer generated sketches/ images [via Adobe Illustrator, CAD etc.] )
You may only enter as an individual (teams of two persons or more are not eligible to enter).
Short-listed participants from Round-1 will be eligible to participate in Round-II. Please read below for selection procedure.
Round-II involves Fabric Sourcing and Manufacturing of Garment. The entry should consist of:
(1) Actual Garment
Please note that participation in the Competition ("Eligibility") does not require that you pay fees or any other consideration to us. If you are under 16, please ask you parents’ or other legal guardians’ permission to enter into the Competition.
You can participate with as many entries as you want. The entries must be submitted to us before 07th Nov '2010, at 10pm IST.
You are solely responsible of the fact that the entries do not infringe any rights of third parties. We ("Organizers") reserve the right to exclude any such entry from the Competition which in our opinion infringes third parties’ rights.
2. Selection of the Winner and prizes
The entries submitted in Round-I will be short-listed based on the following criteria by our Judging Panel:
Technical sound-ness!
Level of Sophistication
Acceptability in the market
Conformity to the Competition Theme
Overall Design.
The shortlisted participants will be intimated through email / phone and will be eligible to participate in Round-II. The Round-II entires will be judged by our Panel based on the following criteria:
Fit
Comfort
Overall Look and Feel
Three Best Designs will win:
1. Internship with ANITA DONGRE, And Designs India Ltd.
2. Cash Prize worth Rs. 12,000.
3. The "winning garments" along with the designers profile will be featured on our website and facebook page.

By submitting a entry (“Work”) to us ("Organizers"), you at the same time grant to us limited perpetual, global, royalty-free, sub licensable right to
(a) Reproduce, display, publish and in all other ways communicate to the public the Work in connection with the Competition in Internet and all other media;
(b) Make changes to and create derivative works from the Work;
(c) Store, reproduce, display, publish and in all other ways communicate to the public the Work for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Limitations and Other Terms
The real life name, home address and other contact details of the winners are not going to be displayed publicly. The contact information submitted by the participants in connection with the Competition is not going to be used for direct marketing purposes.
We ("Organizers") shall not be liable for any damage, loss, cost, expense (including the loss of chance to participate in the Competition and receive the prizes) resulting from technical or other faults, the operation if the Internet and/or Your Internet connection, or problems in the participation or in the receipt or use of the prizes.
